Lanth'Art: "Imago" - Andrea Bizzotto

The exhibition "Imago" by Andrea Bizzotto, shown at the Palladian Basilica in Vicenza, arrives at Lanthia Resort.

Andrea Bizzotto lives in Bassano del Grappa, where he works as a graphic designer, interior decorator and designer.

Draw since he was a child thanks to the many art books available on the shelves at home.

In the early 2000s approaches the colors and the real painting thanks to the encounter with Mariella Scandola, hence began a journey that sees him still in search of himself and the others, attempting to know man and woman through facial expressions and gestures of the body.

This way is divided into two itineraries:
the first runs through the bodies and their study: work on the figure means first try to know the person portrayed, to study the character, personality, favors and fears through the lines, the full and emptiness of its forms, along routes already written by the passage of time;
the second route proceeds through the study of matter and colors, searching every day a color, its density, viscosity, hardness, understand how to use it, how it reacts with the canvas and the other pigments, understanding the significance of combinations, throw away and redo it, remember the feelings and put them aside.

His portraits are just accidents occurred along this path
